Techakids' Intern Norah Fong Realizes Childhood Dream at Carnegie Hall

We are so proud of our very own Techakids Intern Norah Fong for being featured at our local newspaper as she was invited to perform at Carnegie Hall in NY, NY. Norah, an 8th grader at Richardson Middle School in Torrance, California made her debut in April 2018 as the winner in the American Protege International Concerto Competition.

American Protege is a program that helps to advance the careers of young musicians as well as promote their talents, and this year, the competition attracted applicants from 48 countries. Norah Fong was chosen as the first place winner in the age group 13 to 18 with her rendition of “Paganini Variations on One String.”

"Norah is a wonderful intern at Techakids where she helps elementary school students after school and other community programs with technology related STEM projects and computer programming / coding. She relates well with young learners and is passionate in learning about computer sciences." - Ryan Gagajena, Techakids Co-Founder.

Norah will continue to be an intern at Techakids' Summer STEM camp in Torrance, California.
