CLASS DESCRIPTION :
Your child loves Minecraft. They’ve built castles, survived the Nether, maybe even beaten the Ender Dragon a few times. But what if they could build the entire server that makes multiplayer Minecraft possible and customize it from the inside out?
This camp takes young Minecraft fans behind the curtain. Campers won’t just play the game. They’ll set up and run their own Minecraft servers on Techakids’ high-performance gaming equipment learning how multiplayer games actually work under the hood.
What Your Child Will Do
- Build and run their own Minecraft multiplayer servers from the ground up
- Learn real networking fundamentals IP addresses, ports, and how computers find each other on a network
- Design custom worlds with engineering challenges across different biomes
- Write and install their own mods the same tools professional developers use
- Create custom blocks, tools, and visual effects that make their server one-of-a-kind
- Invite friends to play in a world they built and configured from scratch
Why This Camp Is Different:
Most Minecraft camps let kids play together on someone else’s server. This one teaches them to build, configure, and manage the technology that makes multiplayer gaming possible. Your child moves from Minecraft player to technology creator someone who understands how digital systems connect, communicate, and run.
Along the way, they develop skills that reach far beyond gaming: systems thinking, digital engineering, collaborative problem-solving, and the kind of hands-on technology confidence that gives young people a real head start. Every server they configure and every mod they write teaches them how the technology behind their favorite games actually works.
Game time becomes engineering time. And your child walks away with a new understanding of the technology.
Transform screen time into skill-building time this Summer. Spaces filling quickly!
